#TBR April 2020

I started typing up a wrap-up for March 2020, and well, it just didn’t happen. Long story short, I (temporarily) DNF’ed Little Fires Everywhere… not because I probably won’t enjoy it at some point. I just simply could not get my brain to care with all the COVID-19 shit going on. (And yes, shit is the most appropriate word. I just can’t even. I’ve basically disconnected from media and social media, deciding I’m in control of what I’m letting in and I’m exercising that power to the full extent.)

I read two books last month I didn’t originally plan on. Both were enjoyable enough to get my brain to latch onto, even amidst the shit.

The rest of the books I read in March, along with my ratings/reviews for each, can be found on this GoodReads shelf. (P.S. I’m still reading Outlander. My God, it’s long, but it’s damn good.)

Now, for what you really came to read in this post. (Obviously, I’m working on finishing up Outlander.) Since it’s already 1/3 of the way through April, and I still have 10 hours of Outlander to go, this may be ambitious, but who knows. Escapism is my life right now!
