Book of the Month: April 2019

Book of the Month: April 2019

A few months ago, I decided on a monthly book box I thought I could really get some use out of after doing some digging around to see what all was out there. I ended up going with Book of the Month, for one because I could choose the books they send me from month to month instead of being at the mercy of whatever they happen to send like most of the other book boxes, and two, I can do up to two add-ons for much cheaper than what I’d spend anywhere else with no shipping fees.

And these aren’t cheap little books, either. These are hardcover editions, usually mailing out to you before or just in time for the book’s release!

The book I selected this month was Beyond the Point by Claire Gibson. (Releases April 2, 2019)

Three young women enter West Point on the eve of 9/11. Their lives will never be the same.

I also did two add-on books this month, and while there are a wide array of add-on books available, I ended up going with two more of the BOTM April 2019 options. Releasing on April 16 and April 2, respectively, these were a steal at $9.99 each, while Amazon’s preorder shows the hardcover editions both priced over $17.

An addictive courtroom thriller about a tight-knit community and the murder trial that turns neighbor against neighbor.
A genre-bending novel of love, loss, and 5D spacetime.

Here’s an idea of what some of the add-on availability looks like. (There’s quite a selection.)

If you’re interested in joining, I’ve got a promo code so you can get your first book free! Just click here to get started! (I’m not an affiliate, this is just the “Refer a friend” link that will get us both a free book. đŸ™‚ )

Also, see what other books I’ve gotten in previous months on this GoodReads Shelf.

One cool thing I’ve noticed, and I’m not sure if this has just been coincidence or if it’s something that’s planned, is that the Hello Sunshine Book Club picks have been BOTM options for the past couple months. Since I follow that Book Club a lot of the time, I thought this made this even more convenient. For me, at least!
